Mohammed bin al-Hasan bin Ahmed bin al-Waleed (r) related to us from Mohammed bin al-Hasan as-Saffar from Ebbad bin Sulaiman from Mohammed bin Sulaiman that his father Sulaiman ad-Dailami (of Daylam) said: I was with Abu Abdullah (a) when Abu Bassir, who was out of breath, came in. When he took his seat, Abu Abdullah (a) asked him: "O Abu Mohammed, what for was your breathlessness?" He answered: "May Allah make me your sacrifice, son of Allah's Messenger. I grew old, my bones grew thin, and time of my death is about to fall. Still, I do not know what I will face in my life to come."
Abu Abdullah (a) said: "O Abu Mohammed, is it you who says such a thing?" <!--<if gte vml 1>><v:shapetype id="_x0000_t75" coordsize="21600,21600" o:spt="75" o:preferrelative="t" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" filled="f" stroked="f"> <v:stroke joinstyle="miter"/> <v:formulas> <v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"/> <v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"/> <v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"/> <v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"/> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"/> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"/> <v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"/> <v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"/> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"/> <v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"/> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"/> <v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"/> </v:formulas> <v:path o:extrusionok="f" gradientshapeok="t" o:connecttype="rect"/> <o:lock v:ext="edit" aspectratio="t"/> </v:shapetype><v:shape id="_x0000_i1025" type="#_x0000_t75" alt="" style='replaced:15pt; replaced:.75pt'> <v:imagedata src="file:///C:DOCUME~1AdminLOCALS~1Tempmsohtml11clip_i mage001.gif" o:href="http://www.najaf.org/english/book/23/blank.gif"/> </v:shape><!<endif>--><!--<if !vml>--><!--<endif>-->
He answered: "May Allah make me your sacrifice, why should I not say it?" The Imam (a) said: "O Abu Mohammed, have you not known that Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, honors the youth among you and reverences the old ones?" He said: "May Allah make me your sacrifice, how does Allah honor the youth and reverence the old ones?" The Imam (a) said: "Allah will not punish the youth out of His honoring them and will not settle an account with the old men out of His reverencing them." He said: "May Allah make me your sacrifice. Is this peculiarity granted (to us) exclusively or is it general for the community of Tawhid -believing in Allah's oneness-?" The Imam said: "No, by Allah. It is peculiar for you, not the general (Muslims)." He said: "May Allah make me your sacrifice. We have been called with a name due to which our backs have been broken, our hearts have been dead, and the governors have deemed lawful to kill us-all for a narration that their scholars have related." The Imam (a) said: "Do you mean Rafidah?" {Rafidah: (Arabic: "Rejecters" = Shiite Muslims who reject, oppose and curse (rafd) first three caliphs of The Prophet Muhammad'(s) the term Rafidah cannot be applied to the Shiites in general but only to those who condemn caliphs prior to Imam Ali the fourth caliph(Excerpted from ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANNICA 2000)} He answered: "Yes, I do." The Imam (a) said: "No, by Allah. It was not they who named you so. It was, in fact, Allah Who chose this name for you. O Abu Mohammed, have you not known that there were seventy men among the Israelites who rejected the Pharaoh and his people when their deviation had been proved to them? Accordingly, they joined Moses (a) when they knew his having been the right party. Because they rejected the Pharaoh, the party of Moses called them the Rafidah -the rejecters-. They were the best worshippers among the individuals of the party of Moses. Besides, they were the most affectionate of Moses, Aaron, and their descendants. Then, Allah, Powerful and Majestic is He, ordered Moses, by way of revelation, to record this name for those people in the Torah, for He has chosen it for them. Moses (a) did. Allah then saved this name so as to use it for you. O Abu Mohammed, the others rejected the good and you have rejected the evil and held fast on the good. As people went in various directions and separated into different sects, you went in with the household of your Prophet Mohammed (s). You thus opted for what Allah has opted, chosen what Allah has chosen, and wanted what Allah has wanted. Enjoy the good tidings. Surely, enjoy the good tidings. You are, by Allah, the compassioned ones whose righteous deeds will be accepted and wrongdoings will be overlooked. For him whoever does not come to Allah, on the Day of Resurrection, with the same beliefs that you have, his good deeds will not be accepted and his wrongdoings will not be overlooked. O Abu Mohammed, have I made you happy?" He said: "May Allah make me your sacrifice. I seek more from you." The Imam (a) said: "O Abu Mohammed, there are definite angels of Allah, Powerful and Majestic is He, whose mission is to unload the sins that our Shia carry on their backs in the same way as wind causes the leaves of trees to fall down in the season of fall. This is the meaning of Allah's saying: 'The angels glorify their Lord with His praise and seek forgiveness… (42:5)' for the believers. The angels, by Allah, seek forgiveness for you exclusively. O Abu Mohammed, have I made you happy?" He said: "May Allah make me your sacrifice. I seek more from you." The Imam (a) said: "O Abu Mohammed, Allah has referred to you in His Book. He says: 'Among the believers, there are people who are true in their promise to Allah. Some of them have already passed away and some of them are waiting. They never yield to any change. (33:23)' You have fulfilled the pledge under which Allah put you concerning the loyalty to us. You have not substituted anything for us. If you had not done it, Allah would have rebuked you in the same way as He rebuked the others. From the book Ann-ul- Hiat, Chapter on Innovation
It is narrated from Imam Hassan Askaria.s that Imam Ali bin Hussain (a.s) said: When you learn about a scholar who looks like a ‘Alam-e-Deen’, from his appearance, who replies to questions after extensive thinking and taking careful measures and greets with affability and observes humbleness-don’t be simply taken over by these qualities as many people would like to corrupt ‘Deen’ for the sake of worldly benefits, they trick sincere worshiper into their devious web, and rob them from their wealth and once they mange to do so, they get pleasure from their accumulated wealth. However, when you find an ‘Alam’ who refrains from worldly gains and observes religious acts and controls his desires even then do not get trapped in their masquerading manners as there could be many types of ego related desires, hidden underneath! Since an ‘Alam’ keeps away from the unjust wealth but may still be engulfed by other un-Islamic practices. When you confirm that he is not indulged into any of these, even then be careful and take further precautions before trusting him! Until you yourself, do not verify that his practices are according to his preaches and he has sound knowledge- and these should appreciably be reflected from him. The unwise among them (Alam), however, do more harm to the Deen through their critical mistake than any good even when they intend to act with good intentions. And when you make sure that his wisdom is credible even then do not be deceived by him and see if his wisdom keeps control of his wild and filthy desires and see whether he likes the worldly positions and the tendency to be praised by people. As there are few who would trade their ‘Deen’ for worldly gains but end up loosing both of them. Few of them, strife for status, popularity and position at the cost of sacrificing all comforts of their lives. Allahswt would stop His mercy unto them due to their sins and leave them astray in the darkness. They declare Allahswt’s ‘Hallal’ as Harram and Harram is converted into Hallal. Worldly glory and power glitter their eyes and they do not hesitate to trade the Deen to acquire them. They are the ones who will be severely cursed and punished by Allahswt and there is humiliating wrath of Allahswt awaiting them. The brave one is that who holds back his desires in obedience of Allahswt and exerts all his energy as per Commands of Allahswt, He firmly believes in the everlasting respect and bounties of the hereafter as compared with the short lived admiration earned in this world. And the pain and grief experienced in the way of Deen-e-Haq, is minuscule as compared with the pleasures of the garden of paradise. He who has these quality is a ‘Mard-e-Kamil’ (true believer) and worth following! His all prayers are answered by the Allahswt and his all requests are granted by Him.

And I dont think that I did anything wrong to copy and paste the references required in support of my debate. And this thing can be, by a person who have interest in this and moreover graced by Masumeen(a.s.). If you are able to counter then do it, take it granted neither me nor any sincere person will question you the sources. Because motive is the criteria. You asked me why every time I replies in a Blog, just because of it. as I know what is the bottom line atleast by this way many readers are convinced and they paid thanx to me for elobarating this issue and providing such a usefull references. Those who are interested to witness can see it with their own eyes.
Here I once again quoting the same traditon that "Kuff of a momina is only a Momin" by 6th Imam(a.s.) Manlayazarul Faqih. Dear brother if at all you thinks that what I quoted is wrong then please prove it as the allah says in Quran "if you are correct then why dont you submit the evidence to your statement". Ma salam.
