Taufa Ya Ali(as) Madad,
This is an extract from Ayatullah al-Uzma Syed Mohammad Sherazi(ar) fatwa.
Allama says,
"Tatbir and Qama Zani are from deeds falling in the category knowing as RAAJIH".
al-Fiqh Vol 13 Page 332
RAAJIH are those deeds which are very much Mustahib but a group of people says it haram, that Amal gets Wajib on the People to perform it, so that it legacy shall remain.
For this Aqa Sherazi(ar) quotes following References to prove that Syeda Zainab(sa) performed Tatbir infront of Imam Sajjad(as) and it is recorded in Major Shia books

After mentioning these references, Aqa Sherazi(ar) writes, "Zanjeer Zani and Tatbir(hitting one's head with sword) are very Mustahib(sunnat) deeds."
So my advice to all Shiayan e Haider e Karrar(as) is, to perform Azadari, Matam, Zanjeer Zani, Qama Zani and walking on the fire, as much as they can.
Also Aqa Sherazi(ar) says that Allama Majlisi(ar) has confirmed the authenticity of the report.
