Imam Ali as once replied to a group of ten learned men who said, “We seek your permission for our putting a question to you.â€
Imam Ali as replied, “You are at perfect liberty.â€
They said, “Of knowledge and wealth, which is better and why. Please give a separate answer to each of us.
“Imam Ali as answered in ten parts:
1. Knowledge is the legacy of the Prophets; wealth is the inheritance of the Pharaohs. Therefore, knowledge is better than wealth.
2. You are to guard your wealth but knowledge guards you. Therefore, knowledge is better.
3. A man of wealth has many enemies, while a man of knowledge has many friends. Hence, knowledge is better.
4. Knowledge is better because it increases with distribution, while wealth decreases by that act.
5. Knowledge is better because a learned man is apt to be generous while a wealthy person is apt to be miserly.
6. Knowledge is better because it cannot be stolen while wealth can be stolen.
7. Knowledge is better because time cannot harm knowledge but wealth rusts in course of time and wears away.
8. Knowledge is better because it is boundless while wealth is limited and you can keep account of it.
9. Knowledge is better because it illuminates the mind while wealth is apt to blacken it.
10.Knowledge is better because knowledge induced the humanity in our Prophet to say to GOD “We worship thee as we are your servants,†while wealth engendered in Pharaoh and Nimrod the vanity which made them claim god-head.
Accept my heartfelt congratulations on this joyou s accasion...and plzz celebrate this day too like other eid days...greet each other....tell everyone about his (yazeed ibne mawiyah..(l.a)'s hideous crime against islam he is the one  whose hands are stained in the blood of the family of RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Salla m. ,a very ill-mannered, alcoholic and evil person . Many prohibited acts were made legal by him s uch as marrying to women who are ‘Mehram’ a nd the use of interest, etc.he was a fasiq and fajir he used to do zina , he rejected quran he attacked at makkah and madina..he used to damage kabbah
The Horror at Harrah
Harrah was a suburb of Medina which was plunder ed by the army of Yazeed in 63 A.H. In this year, the people of Medinahad risen i n support of Abdullah ibne Hanzala and other no bles of the city who were working against Yazee d?s rule. They had drawn out their swords and were even  successful in overpowering the Governor of Medi na. This infuriated Yazeed no end.  Therefore, he sent a cruel and murderous arm y under the leadership of Muslim ibn Aqabah to quell the rebellion. In the city of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.), this army committed such barbaric and shamele ss acts which cannot be compared even to the m ost savage or uncivilized of societies.
Tabari, writes in his ?Tarikh?, ?Whatever was th ere in Medinawas made permissible for three days  by Muslim Ibn Aqabah for his soldiers. People were killed mercilessly. Wailing and grief overcame the companions of t he Prophet (s.a.w.a.) present in Medina. The most outrageous action which the Syrian ar my of Yazeed ibn Moaviyah perpetrated was of vi olating the chastity of women and girls. As a result, many unlawful children were born.?
(Tarikh-e-Tabari, circa 63 A.H.)
Â
?After the incident of Harrah, the women of Med inadelivered one thousand illicit children. According to another narration, ten thousand su ch children were born.?
(Tarikh of Sibt ibn Jauzi, Pg. 289).
Â
History witnesses that in entire Medina, only fe w houses were safe from this plunder. These were the houses of Imam Zainul Abedeen (a.s.) and others from Bani Hashim.Â
 attacking on makkah.
Similarly, history also records yet another oppre ssive and heart rending crime of the accursed Y azeed in the year 64 A.H. Abdullah ibn Zubair having refused to pay alle giance to Yazeed, had taken protection in the H oly Makkah. When Yazeed sent Muslim ibn Aqabah to Medina, he instructed him to go to Makkah to arrest A bdullah ibn Zubair. However, on the way to Makkah, Muslim left fo r his hellish abode. Husain ibn Numair took over as the commander of the army. When he besieged Makkah, Abdullah ibn Zubair w as in Masjid ul Haram. He entered the Holy Kaaba and sought shelter there. On which, Husain ibn Numair shot huge fire ba lls at the sacrosanct structure, severely damagin g its walls.
(Murooj-uz-Zahab of Masoodi,Vol 2, Pg 70)Â
but todays some ppl r  feeling a soft corner for this criminal ,the worlds topmost terrorist, so its become our  religious and moral duty to celebrate marge ya zeed......its another eid e zehra(s.a) .......celebrate
MARGEÂ YAZEED(L.A)Â MUBARAKÂ TOÂ ALLÂ OFÂ U..
LANATÂ BARÂ YAZEEDÂ (L.A)Â
Once I looked up to the sky
in the night and I saw
bright star sparkling there
in the darkness of the night
and I said who are you?
what are you doing over there
tell me please,
tell me who put you over there
she looked down at me
with a smile on her face
like a rose in the shadow of the bush
little one don't you know?
why it is that I am standing over here?
it is Allah who made me
and made you and the earth
 then I said pretty one
tell me please tell me how
how to be just like you
very pure, very high, very nice
once again pretty face shined again
little one listen well
little one take good care
fear Allah every where
worship him night and day
then I said pretty face pray for me to Allah
I thank you pretty face
I love you for your care
